In this section you will find our archive of sold telegraphs, a historical collection of antique telegraphs and Morse equipment that were previously available at Antiguedades.es and are now part of private collections, museums, institutions and exhibitions dedicated to the history of communications. This archive is an excellent reference resource for collectors, researchers and enthusiasts of historical technology.
Over the years, our gallery has handled Morse keys, telegraph keys, Morse instruments, telegraph stations, telegraph printers, galvanometers, sounders, coils and other components used for transmitting messages in Morse code. Many of these pieces retained their original mechanisms, maker's plates, wooden bases or electrical components, significantly increasing their historical and collectible value.
This archive allows visitors to discover the evolution of telegraphy from the first electrical systems of the nineteenth century to the equipment used throughout much of the twentieth century. Each piece reflects the technological advances of its time and the important role it played in communications, railways, public administration, commerce and military services.
This archive should be regarded as a historical catalogue of sold telegraphs rather than an active sales section. If you would like to browse the pieces currently available, please visit our antique telegraphs for sale, where we regularly add carefully selected examples.
The telegraphs preserved in this archive allow collectors and researchers to compare manufacturers, models, mechanisms, transmission systems and technical solutions that shaped the evolution of electrical communications for more than a century. They provide a valuable reference for collectors, researchers and enthusiasts of the history of electricity and technology.
If any of the pieces included in this archive serves as a reference for a future acquisition, please feel free to contact us. We will be pleased to let you know whether we have a similar telegraph available or notify you when a related antique Morse instrument is added to our catalogue.
