Superb antique camera set with a Carl Zeiss lens, manufactured circa 1900 and in good condition. This set includes a period bellows camera, in excellent condition and of great beauty, designed for use with 18 x 13 cm glass plates. The cameras shutter release and curtain are functional, and the mahogany wood frame and bellows are also very well preserved. The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena No. 9804 Anastigmat 1:9 f/196 mm, completely original and in good condition except for a slight trace of dust on the lens. The camera comes with an antique tripod in very good condition, featuring the original ball head, which is well-preserved and in perfect working order. The set exudes a turn-of-the-century aesthetic full of charm and appeal, making it a perfect piece to add to a fine collection or to decorate a special corner in a living room or studio.
