This striking set consisting of a mantel clock and a matching pair of candelabra is a very old and decorative piece, manufactured in France circa 1870. All three pieces are in very good condition, as beautiful and well-balanced as the day they were made. The set has great decorative potential, with a distinctly Baroque aesthetic that is at the same time elegant and balanced. The clock has a square case and is crowned with a vase-shaped finial, while the candelabra are slender and stylized, each featuring five lights.

The clock is a particularly attractive piece, both for its beauty and the quality of its movement. It is equipped with an 8-day Paris movement and strikes the hours and half-hours. The square case rests on a beautiful four-legged base, the front of which features a medallion in the shape of a human face. Above the base is a metal-engraved border in the neoclassical style. The dial is round and protected by the original glass; it is made of white porcelain with beautiful black-enameled Arabic numerals. Below the dial, the case is decorated with branches tied with a bow; at the top, scrolls with flowers are engraved. On the sides of the clock, two lion heads each hold a ring.

The top of the clock case gains height and elegance thanks to the piece that crowns it: a slender vase with scrolls on the handles and lid. The movement is stamped with the manufacturer's mark: VINCENT & CIE. MEDAILLE D'ARGENT 1856. The serial number, 4131, is also engraved on the metal. The clock has been serviced to ensure optimal performance. The candelabra, meanwhile, feature a refined and classic design, with two vases rising from a highly ornate base. The arms of the candelabra emerge gracefully and elegantly from the narrow neck of each vase.
