The clock hangs from the hand of a beautiful Art Nouveau-style female figure, cast in bronze and standing on a discreet wooden base.

The clock was crafted in the early 20th century by the German watchmaker Junghans. We can deduce this from the logo imprinted on the dial: the letter J inscribed within an eight-pointed star. Junghans is today Germany's leading watchmaker, having grown significantly since its founding in 1861. The company was founded at that time by Erhard Junghans in the town of Schramberg, and from that moment on, it grew to achieve its current prestige.

The clock in question is exceptionally beautiful, with its sculptural quality likely being its most remarkable feature. The female figure holding the clock is very beautiful and stands in a pose full of life and movement. The wind shapes the tunic the woman wears, creating very delicate and realistic folds. At the lady's feet, bronze roses cascade onto the dark, varnished wooden base. On the upper part of the figure, the back and right arm show some minor imperfections that a skilled professional will be able to restore without difficulty.
