Campaign Merit Cross Medal for officers from the Spanish Civil War, entirely original and in good condition. This attractive medal, also known as the War Cross, is very well preserved. The base consists of oxidised silver rays, upon which rests a delicate gold-plated piece featuring four arms, a laurel wreath, and a central circle. Each arm bears a symbol: a crown on the top arm (with a rectangle intended for engraving the date of award), a rampant lion on each side, and a castle tower on the bottom arm. The central circle is adorned with the same symbolsrepresenting Castile and Leónin white, red, ultramarine blue, and gold enamel. The ultramarine ring surrounding the circle bears the inscription AL MÉRITO EN CAMPAÑA in gold letters.

Due to its authenticity and excellent condition, this Cross of Merit in Campaign for officers of the Spanish Civil War deserves a prominent place in any fine collection.
