This magnificent early 20th-century microscope is an authentic, original piece in good condition and in working order. It was manufactured in Berlin, Germany, by the firm E. Becker. The instrument retains all its original parts and comes in its original solid wood case. The case includes two holders with covers for the lenses and eyepieces. All parts are well-preserved despite their age, making this a charming and intriguing piece for collectors.

The microscope has a black-enameled cast-iron base, featuring the classic "bird-claw" design typical of this type of instrument. A curved arm extends from the base, supporting the tower, which is also made of lacquered iron and features brass and chrome-plated metal lenses and eyepieces. The tower is marked with the manufacturer's name: E. Becker G.m.b.H. - Berlin W15, and below this inscription is the microscope's serial number: No. 6230. Beneath the tower is the four-lens revolver, in perfect working order.

The lenses are engraved with the magnification number and the inscription "Oil Immersion." As mentioned, the microscope comes in its original solid beechwood case. The case is assembled using fine, sturdy, and very attractive dovetail joints. It retains the original metal handle, the lock, and a pair of keys that work perfectly. The eyepiece and objective lens holders are also made of solid wood and are in excellent condition, and they still include the plastic covers designed to protect and preserve the accessories.

Its excellent condition and functionality make this microscope a collector's item of great decorative beauty.
