Antique Soviet SVT-40 sniper scope for the Mosin-Nagant, manufactured in Russia during World War II and entirely original. Replicas of this scope are still being manufactured today, but the one shown in the images is authentic and was used during the second major conflict of the 20th century. The scope is designed to be mounted on Mosin-Nagant bolt-action rifles, one of the most famous firearms in history, which was in service from 1891 through the 1960s. This is the Model 91/30 STV-40, and it is in working condition: it retains its mounting hardware, the optics are clear, the turrets function properly, and the reticle moves. As a point of interest, this is the same sight that appeared in the 2013 film *Stalingrad*, directed by Joseph Vilsmaier. The scope is made of black-enamelled metal and has a solid, robust appearance. Engraved on the body is the serial number 6148003, along with the model number and the symbol of the workers unionthe hammer and sickle.
