A fascinating set of 35 antique stereoscopic plates, developed on glass in black and white and sepia tones, and very well preserved. The plates depict scenes of family life, landscapes, and evocative settings, as well as portraits of people, both in groups and individually. The portraits reflect the aesthetic of the era, with the subjects posing in various ways: in relaxed situations, on vacation, looking at the camera, smiling, or with a serious expression and a stiff pose. Many of the images show children in period clothing, providing a fascinating glimpse into the lifestyle of the middle class in the early 20th century. Some photographs feature corners of gardens and parks, as well as a lake with swans and buildings.

Given its excellent condition and nostalgic images, this set of stereoscopic plates deserves a place in a fine collection of vintage photography.
