Collection of 27 18x9 Stereoscopic Cards. USA, circa 1905

Fascinating collection of 27 18x9 stereoscopic cards with a striking stereoscopic effect, produced in the USA circa 1905. This unique collection consists of a series of carefully selected photographs that stand out for the impressive three-dimensional effect the images produce when viewed through a stereoscope. The images depict scenes and situations captured in various locations around the world. We can distinguish two types of scenes: theatrical settings, described with captions such as After the Dance, and picturesque photographs of different places around the world. The images are printed on thin cardboard and are in very good conditionwhich is somewhat surprising considering they are over a century old. All of them feature the name IMPERIAL SERIES printed on the sides.

This collection of 27 19x9 stereoscopic cards with a striking stereoscopic effect retains its appeal and ability to amaze. A true collectors item.
