Collection of 57 stereoscopic photographs, 45x107 mm. France, circa 1920

Antique collection of 57 stereoscopic photographs, 45x107 mm, from France and taken circa 1920. This collection of images on glass plates is presented in its original cardboard boxes, with the corresponding labels and inscriptions in French indicating the contents. One of the boxes bears a typewritten label with the inscription Grottes de Betharram (the Betharram Caves, located in France): this is a series of plates featuring images of the caves, likely acquired during a trip. The rest of the images are of a private nature; on two of the boxes, we can see the inscription Plaques Italie Septembre 1929 written by hand. These photographs depict iconic sites such as the Colosseum in Rome or the canals of Venice, but also include more personal scenes (a man posing or a dog in a field, among others). All the plates are in excellent condition.

Lovers of vintage photography will undoubtedly appreciate this comprehensive collection of 57 43x107 mm stereoscopic photographs, full of charm and nostalgia.
