Magnificent Swiss Omega pocket watch, manufactured around 1923. This is a true collector's item crafted by one of the most celebrated and prestigious watchmaking firms in history. Omega watches have become icons of the 20th century, having been worn by such illustrious figures as John Fitzgerald Kennedy, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and the fictional character in the latest James Bond films. As a point of interest, it was the watch worn by the first man to set foot on the Moon in 1969. The company began its journey in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. Its founder was Louis Brandt, who was succeeded by his sons Louis-Paul and Cesar. In 1894, with the launch of the famous Caliber 19 (better known as the Omega), the company began its meteoric rise. Today, the Omega brand belongs to the powerful Swiss Swatch Group.

The watch has no front cover; instead, the gold-plated metal case is decorated with beautiful engravings. The dial is white, with black Arabic numerals and a seconds hand. The hands are straight and slender, made of black metal with a delicate red glow. The watch also features an elegant chain designed to hang it from a vest. The chain bears a stamp with the letter W on one of its links. The back cover is decorated with an engraving depicting two men playing hockey in a lush garden. To the left, beneath the foot raised by the player in the back, we can see a small inscription: HUGUENIN DEP.

If we lift the back cover, we can see the fine movement that brings this beautiful watch to life. It is signed with the brand name, Omega, and bears the serial number 6901019, which places its manufacture between 1923 and 1925. The movement retains all its original parts and gears and has been properly adjusted to ensure correct operation. Next to one of the mounting screws, we can see a small lever marked with the letters F S (Fast-Slow) and A-R (Advance-Retard). This watch is a collector's item, of great aesthetic beauty and perfect functionality, which will undoubtedly be one of the stars of any collection belonging to the foremost expert in antique watches.
