Gold-plated German pocket watch, with original chain and in perfect working condition. This watch is a vintage gem dating from the 1930s that showcases the characteristic aesthetic elegance of the era's design, while retaining undeniable charm and being in excellent condition. The watch comes with its original chain, and the entire set is crafted from gold-plated metal. Furthermore, the item comes in its original period case, inside which there is an inscription with the name of the store where the watch was originally purchased: Paul & Koenig - Uhren & Goldwaren - GREIZ.

The excellent condition in which this item has been preserved is particularly striking. The front cover features a design typical of this type of watch, with a plain central shield intended to hold the owner's engraved initials. The shield is unengraved, offering the buyer the opportunity to personalize the watch. Once the cover is opened, one can admire the understated and attractive white porcelain dial, with black Arabic numerals and small blue numerals indicating the minutes. The watch also features a seconds hand. The hands are elegantly designed and crafted from copper-colored metal.

Inside the front cover, we can see a beautiful engraved seal depicting a bison, and below it is the serial number 313419. The back cover features a very delicate lattice-patterned decoration, and on the inside, the initials "GR" and the following inscriptions are engraved: "GOLD-DOUBLE - GARANTIE 10 JAHRE," indicating that the item is made of gold-plated metal. The serial number appears again beneath the aforementioned inscription, as well as on the inside of the dust cover. Lifting this cover reveals the watch's delicate movement, crafted from small, precision-engineered gold- and silver-plated metal parts, with the rubies that form part of the mechanism standing out.

This watch is undoubtedly a beautiful piece from the early 20th century-as authentic as it is elegant-and has been serviced to ensure it runs as precisely as it did on the very first day.
