This beautiful antique watch is a true gem in its field: it is an Omega watch made of solid silver in 1901. The company that manufactured this antique pocket watch, Omega, is a true leader in the field of luxury watchmaking. It is a Swiss company founded in 1848 by watchmaker Louis Brandt, from the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. From its humble beginnings to the present day, Omega has enjoyed a meteoric rise: its watches were chosen by the British and American militaries as their official chronometers, and they were also part of the equipment worn by the astronauts who walked on the Moon in 1969. Today, Omega is a subsidiary of the Swiss watchmaking group Swatch. On the beautiful dial of this watch, we can see the Omega brand name printed at the top.

The dial features black Arabic numerals and a seconds hand, as well as delicate gold-plated metal markers indicating the minutes on the outer ring. On the case back, the watch features an elegant coat of arms surrounded by a wreath of flowers engraved in the metal. This coat of arms is intended for engraving the watch owner's initials. If we lift the case back, we'll see various hallmarks and stamps engraved on the inside, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the metal from which the watch is made. The brand name and serial number-1941968-are also visible. On the dust cover, five medals are engraved, along with the inscription "OMEGA - GRAND PRIX - PARIS 1900." The inside of this cover is also properly hallmarked and bears the serial number.
