Spectacular ladies' watch crafted from 14K solid gold in the late 19th century. This exquisite watch is presented in its original period case. This watch was designed to be worn as a pendant or brooch, and its beauty remains undiminished by the passage of time. In fact, the movement has been serviced and adjusted so that the watch runs as smoothly as it did on the very first day. The back cover of the case is lavishly hand-engraved, further enhancing the piece's appeal.

The dial is in very good condition, with no visible hairline cracks or imperfections. It features black Arabic numerals, a seconds hand, and metal hour markers. It is surrounded by a beautiful bezel with exquisite motifs engraved in gold. The pendant bears a small hallmark attesting to the authenticity of the precious metal. The watch's caseback is exceptionally beautiful, hand-engraved with a scene depicting a butterfly over a field of flowers. It is a modernist-inspired motif, full of dynamism and elegance. In the center is a plain shield intended for engraving the initials of the watch's owner.

If we lift the back cover, we'll see several hallmarks and stamps engraved on the inside, as well as the D+C monogram and the item's serial number: 838477. Beneath the dust cover, we find the same inscriptions, indicating that all the watch's components are made of gold. The D+C monogram appears again on the internal movement, which is in perfect condition. The case in which this antique treasure is stored is also original, and inside it bears an inscription with the name of the store where it was originally purchased.
