Beautiful wooden L.M.T. tube radio, manufactured in France in the 1940s. Crafted from mahogany, it has been recently restored and features an attractive polished finish that highlights the wood's grain and color. The mechanism has also been tuned, and the radio works perfectly at 220 V. This is a beautiful and understated piece from the first half of the century, featuring the characteristic aesthetics of the era and combining its visual appeal with the advantage of flawless functionality, which delivers a loud and clear sound.

The radio's exterior is in superb condition thanks to the recent restoration. In the center, slightly offset to the right (which lends an attractive asymmetry to the front panel), we can see the black dial with yellow and blue lettering. This dial is controlled by a circular knob located on the left side of the unit. It is protected by a glass panel, and at the top it retains the "magic eye"-a characteristic feature of high-end radios of the era-which serves as a tuning indicator.

The speaker is protected by a wide-weave fabric, similar to burlap but finer, in a delicate beige color. In front of the fabric, in the center of each opening, we can see four straight gold bars, arranged in parallel and in pairs, which embellish and protect the panels and the fabric covering them. The mechanism has been repaired and is in working order. To access it, simply remove the back panel of the radio, which is secured by a series of small rotating levers. The radio retains its original mechanism and valves, as well as the power cord with a plug marked with its operating voltage: 220 V. Although some parts show slight signs of rust due to the passage of time, this in no way affects the functionality or the unique charm of this beautiful radio-perfect for decorating any living room and a true find for lovers of vintage radios.
