Elegant and aesthetically pleasing French radio manufactured in the late 1940s by Francq Pau. With a simple, rectangular design, it is in good condition and in working order. The mechanism is set up to operate on 220 V. The cabinet is made of mahogany and features a hand-rubbed varnish finish, which enhances its beautiful reddish hue. The front panel is covered with a golden-beige burlap-style fabric, characteristic of radios from that era. On both sides, it also features two cylindrical wooden strips painted in gold and silver. At the bottom, the front panel features three black Bakelite knobs for operating the dial, which is located in the center of the panel. The dial has a black background, and the names of the various stations are written in a greenish-yellow color.

The radio's mechanism remains in good condition, with all original parts intact. The rear panel, made of plywood, can be removed by unscrewing the screws to access the mechanism. Attached to this panel is a metal plate bearing the company name (Francq Radio - Pau), the power in watts (W45), the model (Type 57), the sound quality (Hz 50), and the radio's serial number (No. 71).

Overall, this radio is perfect for decorating the most elegant living room, and it also has the advantage of being able to tune in to different stations. A luxury item, as antique as it is beautiful, that will enhance the decor of any room.
