Beautiful French radio manufactured in the 1930s by the Vinix brand (Paris). This elegant model stands out for its excellent condition and the fact that it works perfectly at 220 V, so it does not require a transformer. The radio is rectangular in shape, and the cabinet is covered with mahogany veneers combined to create an attractive symmetrical pattern (the "frisage" technique). The cabinet rests on an off-white Bakelite base, and the front panel features four controls and several elements made of the same material.

The varnish coating the wood is in very good condition and enhances its beautiful reddish-gold color, giving it a warm and glossy finish. On the left side of the front panel is the radio's speaker, covered by a perforated metal plate and featuring a round white Bakelite ornament crisscrossed by horizontal stripes of the same material. The right side is occupied by the large dial, on which the various radio stations from many cities around the world are clearly marked. Above them is a "magic eye," typical of vintage radios. The speaker and dial assembly is surrounded by an off-white Bakelite frame that embellishes it and makes it stand out.

At the bottom of the front panel are four round knobs, among which the brand's logo appears in gold embossed letters affixed to the wood. The back of the radio is a plywood panel that can be removed to access the interior. The mechanism's parts are original and well-preserved, ensuring perfect operation and a clear, crisp sound. The beauty of this vintage radio and its excellent condition make it a unique piece, worthy of a prominent place in even the most comprehensive collection.
