Extremely Rare Cuban Campaign Machete. Lion-Head Hilt. 1890

Rare Spanish Cuban machete. Late 19th century. The pommel is a lion's head made of German silver. Was manufactured in Germany for the Spanish market. Lion's eyes are two small rubies. The scabbard carries incised decorations. The blade is simply fantastic. Impeccable. One of my favorites machetes. It measures 89 cm with scabbard, 85.5 cm without, and 71 cm only the blade.
