Delicate Hand-Painted Chinese Porcelain Bowl. Marked "Guangxu"

A beautiful and delicate hand-painted Chinese porcelain bowl, with a white background and various figures adorning the exterior. The bowl is in good condition, with only a slight chip on the rim. Otherwise, it is perfectly preserved, and the colors of its decoration are as vivid, intense, and brilliant as when this piece was first created.

The decoration consists, as mentioned, of a total of nine figures dressed in traditional attire. All of them display exceptional craftsmanship and undeniable realism, with facial expressions and movements full of life. Almost all the figures are smiling or speaking, and their elegant hands are just as expressive as their faces. Their garments are rich in color, decorated in shades of blue, pink, yellow, green, and orange. The areas of color are outlined by delicate black lines, while the hands and faces of each figure are outlined with red lines. Separating the figures, we see several names written in Chinese characters, rendered with firm black strokes.

The bowl is decorated only on the outside; the interior is made of immaculate white porcelain. If we turn the piece over, we'll discover the Guangxu mark (1873-1908) in a vivid red on the base. This was the name of the Chinese emperor of the Qing Dynasty who preceded Puyi, also known as "the Last Emperor." In short, the age, excellent condition, and intrinsic beauty of this exquisite Chinese porcelain bowl make it a highly attractive item.
