Elegant and delicate Chinese white porcelain vase with a stylized silhouette, hand-painted in subtle pastel tones. This vase is a particularly beautiful piece due to its harmonious forms and balanced decoration. Overall, it is a highly decorative piece, embodying all the beauty of the finest antique Chinese porcelain. The decoration consists of various scenes, all part of an overall composition depicting several female figures dressed in traditional attire engaged in various activities at large tables. The motifs are painted in very subtle tones, predominantly browns, greens, and blues.

Painted on the vase are several tables with green tops and brown legs, upon which the figures are drawing or conversing. Stacked on top of some of them are various objects, both functional and decorative. The women who are resting, enjoying themselves, or working at or beside the tables are accompanied by other smaller figures, who appear to be playing or serving them. T h e base of the neck is a particularly attractive area in terms of decoration: in addition to featuring a beautiful border with flowers and butterflies, it is also adorned with porcelain dragons or salamanders that protrude above the smooth surface, creating an original and very appealing detail.

Above the base, the neck extends upward until it opens into the mouth, forming a beautiful silhouette. In this area, the decoration is less abundant, featuring two small figures rising above the clouds and a charming landscape. The vase is also adorned with red bats scattered across its surface, symbols of good fortune in Chinese tradition. When five bats are depicted on a single piece, it is meant to represent the "arrival of the five fortunes." The base of the vase bears the Yongzheng mark (1723-1735), in blue and beneath the porcelain glaze. Yongzheng was the fourth emperor of the Qing Dynasty and the third to reign over all of China.
