Beautiful Chinese white porcelain vase with a long neck and exquisite hand-painted naturalistic decoration. This vase is a very special piece due to its elegant form, whose proportions are further enhanced-if that's even possible-by the exquisite decoration adorning the white porcelain. The decoration is inspired by nature, featuring plant motifs and birds rendered with great realism, attention to detail, and care. The base and rim of the vase are also decorated with borders in a deep cobalt blue, creating a balanced and harmonious whole.

The front of the vase is where the decoration is concentrated and displayed in all its splendor. In this area, we see a scene composed of a profusion of plants and flowers sprouting from the base, above which rise the slender branches of a cherry tree in bloom. Two delicate birds fly among the branches, the true stars of the scene thanks to their movement and liveliness. The lower part is also very beautiful, filled with leaves, grasses, and flowers of various sizes and colors. In front of the group emerges a strange, twisted dark-green shape that resembles a kind of rock or perhaps a wave.

As mentioned, both the base and the neck are decorated with blue borders, rendered with a more blurred line than the main decorative design. The border on the base consists of spots with lobed edges that seem to evoke waves and rocks. The upper border, meanwhile, features a large area decorated with scales and topped at the bottom by a small geometric border. Shapes in a more intense blue are drawn atop the scales. Furthermore, if we turn the vase over to examine its base, we will discover the mark of Guangxu (1873-1908), the eleventh emperor of the Qing Dynasty. The mark is rendered in the same cobalt blue as the borders and is protected by the porcelain's glaze.
