Beautiful antique Chinese plate made of white porcelain with hand-painted cobalt blue decoration. This is an antique piece in good condition, displaying an elegance and a very attractive balance in its decoration. The plate has a small chip on the rim, but otherwise the porcelain is well preserved. The blue decoration is vivid and high-contrast: it consists of a series of designs hand-painted with taste and attention to detail. The decoration is balanced across several sections: the circular rim, the center, and four equally sized scenes that occupy most of the plate.

The central circle features four identical white animals, each enclosed in dark blue ovals. In the center is a very harmonious floral design, and the background is painted blue and embellished with a diamond pattern. The entire motif is circular in shape and surrounded by a border of dots forming radial lines. Next, covering most of the plate's surface, are four beautiful floral-inspired scenes. All are different but share the same style, depicting large flowers surrounded by leaves, plants, and Oriental-inspired architectural elements.

The rim of the plate is blue and features the same diamond-patterned decoration with dotted lines found in the center. The piece as a whole is of great beauty and quality, displaying a balance and dynamism full of aesthetic appeal. On the reverse side, the plate bears the Kangxi mark (1662-1722) in blue, inscribed beneath the porcelain glaze, which both protects and enhances it. Kangxi was the third emperor of the Qing Dynasty and the second to rule over all of China. His reign lasted sixty-one years, making it the longest in the country's history and also one of the most significant, as it marked an era of great splendor for culture and the arts.
