Beautiful antique Chinese vase in blue and white porcelain, full of charm and history, which has survived to the present day in good condition. The vase features a design, drawn with a steady hand in the form of fine lines that create a floral pattern. The vase's shape-with a wide base and mouth that taper before bulging outward at the center-is also very beautiful.

As mentioned, the white porcelain from which the vase is made is profusely decorated all over its exterior with cobalt blue motifs. The center is adorned with a delicate, classical-style border that separates the neck from the body of the piece. Both sections feature the same decoration consisting of stylized plants and flowers, whose stems and leaves cover the background, creating an almost abstract design. Superimposed on this design is a Chinese ideogram-representing a wish for double happiness-painted in large, dark blue letters and repeated four times. Two of the characters are located on the neck of the vase, and the other two are depicted on the rounded front section.

The base of the vase bears the kiln mark, which has turned a deep brown color due to the heat generated in the kiln during the firing process. This mark is an unmistakable sign of the vase's artisanal origin. Also on the base, we can make out the mark of Chenghua (1464-1487), the eighth emperor of the Ming Dynasty, who ruled China for twenty-three years. Despite its age, the vase is very well preserved, with no cracks, chips, or restorations. This magnificent vase is a one-of-a-kind piece.
