Pair of Antique Chinese Vases in Blue-and-White Porcelain. China, 17231735

A stunning pair of antique Chinese vases in blue-and-white porcelain, made between 1723 and 1735 and very well preserved. These two delicate vases, dating from the Yongzheng period (Qing Dynasty), stand out for their elegant simplicity and the quality of their craftsmanship. They are in very good condition and show no visible chips or damage. The vases are hand-painted in blue ink on a white background, a classic and timeless style that retains all its charm.

The images depicted by the artist differ depending on which side of the vase is viewed. On one side, we can see classic representations of Eastern landscapes, featuring bridges, gnarled trees, islands, and mountains through which tiny figures wander. Next to these are three figures of elderly men dressed in traditional attire, drawn in great detail and full of expressiveness. On the base of both vases, we can see the double-circle mark of the Yongzheng period, consisting of six perfectly identifiable and very well-preserved characters.

Thanks to their charm, beauty, and excellent condition, this pair of antique Chinese vases in blue-and-white porcelain will take pride of place in a special setting or as part of a fine collection.
