Attractive antique postal scale designed to weigh letters with precision. It was manufactured in France in the early 20th century. All parts and components are original and well-preserved, ensuring that the scale functions properly and can still be used to weigh light objects. The base is made of turned beech wood stained mahogany, solid and sturdy. The scale itself sits atop it, consisting of various brass parts that move smoothly. The brass is in good condition and retains its patina, which adds character to the piece. In the center, two initialslikely those of the manufacturerare engraved: AW, accompanied by the word DEPOSÉ (registered in French).
