Fantastic standing crucifix crafted from gilded metal in the 19th century. This beautiful religious antique comes from France and is hand-carved, featuring a design full of stylized elegance. The crucifix is in excellent condition. Pieces like this are intended to adorn churches and altars, but they are also perfect for decorating living spaces. The crucifix stands 54 centimeters tall.

The cross rises from an elegant rectangular base supported by four small legs. The base features Renaissance-style moldings and, on its front, a medallion with the Lamb of God engraved in the metal. Above the base, a cup-shaped piece decorated with plant motifs supports the cross, which rises majestically above it. The arms of the cross are topped with beautiful, elegant, and symmetrical lyre-shaped details. Overall, the effect is balanced and airy, creating a piece of unique style.

At the top, the crucifix features a small figure of Christ Crucified, subtly crafted from gilded metal. The figure is simple yet well-proportioned, having been crafted with attention to detail. The upper part of the Redeemer is surrounded by a series of metal rays fanning out like a fan, creating a border that seems to radiate light. At the top of the stipes (the vertical beam of the cross) appears the classic inscription "INRI," carved on a small scroll-shaped plaque.
