This incredible solid silver teapot was crafted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in the second half of the 19th century. It is made entirely of silver and, as you can see, comes with a warmer. The entire piece is intricately crafted and embossed with floral and plant motifs, birds, and two scenes depicting daily life in the Netherlands. The spout is shaped like a bird. All pieces bear their corresponding hallmarks; in this case, the lion of the Dutch silversmiths of that era.
