Beautiful antique silver chain for a pocket watch, made in the 19th century and in excellent condition. The piece bears no hallmarks, but the metal has been acid-tested, and we can guarantee that it is 100% solid silver. It is designed to be attached to the watch at one end and to the buttonhole of a vest at the other. The chains design is very delicate and attractive: the piece consists of three sections of silver links, two of which are connected by a thin tassel. The other two sections are connected by a small silver rod topped with two balls, which is inserted into the buttonhole to secure the chain to the garment. At the end of the remaining section is another delicate tassel adorned with small silver chains. The clasp at the other end is also made of solid silver and closes securely, allowing the watch to be hung safely.
