Items requiring special shipping

Some items, due to their size, weight, fragility or special characteristics, cannot be shipped using standard postal services or conventional transport companies.

In these cases, the item may be collected in person from our shop in Zaragoza, or we can arrange specialised transport to the buyer’s address.

Such items may include furniture, large gramophones, sculptures, antique machinery, large clocks or other pieces requiring special handling and packing.

Professional packing and pallet shipping

We can safely prepare and pack any item, regardless of its size, weight or fragility, for transport within Spain or to any destination worldwide.

Where required by the nature of the item, we use reinforced packing, internal protection, custom-made boxes, wooden structures or palletised shipping systems.

Our aim is to protect the item properly throughout handling, loading, transport and final delivery.

Personalised calculation of shipping costs

The packing and transport costs for this type of item cannot be calculated using a standard rate.

The price depends on the final destination, the size and weight of the item once packed, the type of protection required, whether a pallet or wooden crate is needed, and the delivery conditions at the buyer’s address.

The cost may also vary depending on whether delivery is made at street level, to a property with a lift, to an upper floor or to a location with difficult access.

For this reason, we request individual quotations from specialised transport companies before confirming the shipment.

Costs payable by the buyer

The cost of packing, palletising, specialised transport and delivery of bulky items is payable by the buyer.

Before making your purchase, you may contact us to request a quotation. To calculate it, we will need the country, city, postcode and, where relevant, information about access to the delivery location.

No special shipment will be arranged without first informing the buyer of the cost and obtaining their approval.

Personal collection

The buyer may also collect the item in person from our shop in Zaragoza or arrange collection through a transport company of their choice.

In that case, we can prepare the item for collection and coordinate the collection date and time with the buyer or the appointed transport company.
