As a general rule, almost all antique gramophones, have signs of use: hardware with some surface rust, dirt, mismatches, ect. Very rarely, we can find a device, as old as our grandparents, in such a good state of conservation that it seems to have left the factory. If it also keeps its original key, (that is to say, it has not been lost in 80 years) we are in front of an authentic collector's item. This magnificent state of preservation affects, of course, the quality of the sound, which is pristine, clear, crisp and very loud. There are few times when the phrase a picture is worth a thousand words can be applied as clearly as in this case. My words, I am afraid, can never come close to describing this piece correctly. I will add, however, that the gramophone cover contains an album of records, including, among others, a very rare version of Valencia in French. A few needles are included. The device measures, closed, 41 cms long x 30 cms wide x 17 cms deep.
