Magnificent Cuban Naval Merit Order, Knight Class, from the age of Batista (Cuba, 2nd third of the 20th century). Real original medal from the years of Batista! The top shows a longitudinal small plate decorated with a vegetal series of motives, from which a bicolor (blue and white) ribbon hangs. It is in good condition in spite of the passing of the years. The medal has also a central four-tipped star enameled in cobalt blue, whose core is occupied by a white anchor and an oval with the inscription HONOR, VIRTUD Y VALOR (honor, virtue and braveness) , framing two golden letters (MN for Mérito Naval, which means Naval Merit). The star is bordered by a laurel crown, in dark green enamel. At the rear we can see the anchor stamp, bordered by the inscription Dator Plus Ultra. Genuine medal from the age of Batista, essential for any good collection of medals.
