Medal of the Order of Saint Hermenegildo from the period of Alphonse XIII (early XX century) , Spain, in good condition and with a fine-looking design. This medal was given in reward for constancy, as stated in the central enameled piece. It is made of gold-plated metal with enameled decoration the cross has white arms, and the obverse face shows the figure of a golden knight on a light blue background. Under the horse we can see a tiny flaw, scarcely visible. The image is framed by a navy-blue ring with the golden inscription PREMIO A LA CONSTANCIA MILITAR (Reward for military constancy). On the other hand, the reverse face shows the embossed inscription FVIII. The silk ribbon is white and fuchsia, with a golden metal top bar and a royal-crown-shaped suspension ring. This amazing medal of the Order of Saint Hermenegildo, made in the period of Alphonse XIII, is a real collectors piece with a remarkable attractive look.
