Beautiful Edison Standard Phonograph from 1900. It is in perfect condition. The mechanics of the phonograph have been checked by expert restorers ensuring its perfect working order. The sound is loud and clear and enjoys having a quiet and robust motor with duration for several cylinders. All parts are completely original, including the reproducer and horn. Formed essentially by the central cylinder where the cylinders with the music are placed, thanks to the movement of the side crank, the needle follows the grooves left on the cylinder in the recording, producing the sound of the songs it incorporates. The beautiful machinery in silvered metal and enameled in black, with the signature of the brand on the front, sits on a wooden box where the brand and the name of the model written with the characteristic letters of the Edison brand for this model appears. Attached is a beautiful black enameled horn and the protective wooden box with handle to carry it. The phonograph is delivered with two cylinders so you can listen to music with this fantastic device from day one. Edison patented in 1892 in the United States, Great Britain and Canada his invention of sound reproduction under the name of phonograph. The Standard was a sales success, due to its quality, hardness and durability, even though it was one of the most expensive in the catalog. It is a simple model, one of the first of the brand and undoubtedly one of the best sellers. Listen to the music of a device that in its time was a real revolution and feel part of history!
