Elegant Trompreta Gramophone, Lemania brand, manufactured in 1915. It consists of a beautiful fruitwood box in light color, possibly pear tree, with simple longitudinal incisions on the front as decoration. The simple and elegant horn of sober style in black color appears decorated in the interior part by means of color degradation. The decorative metal arm with plant motifs that run along its contour is undoubtedly outstanding. Attached is a Swiss ROC reproducer in perfect condition. The piece is in perfect working order, with a smooth motor and no noise. It has been completely overhauled and checked and sounds like new. It also attaches several discs and enough needles to make it work from the first day. The gramophone was invented by the German Emile Berliner in the year 1887 becoming a tough competitor of the phonograph that Edison had invented years before. It was a new reproducer device that used a disc made of zinc, covered with a beeswax and benzine on which it was subsequently recorded, instead of a cylinder. Between the disc and the cylinder there would be a hard fight that, although in the early years both formats shared the market, the disc would end up winning. Beautiful and elegant collector's item with which to enjoy the music of yesteryear as never before. Measures: 32 x 32 x 32 cm (box) and 51 cm (diameter) x 35 cm (length) of the horn.
