This incredible gramophone (model nº 9) was made by German brand Parlophone in the year 1910. Despite its age, it is in surprisingly good condition and works perfectly. The motor is working well and only a minor sound can be hear while playing the records, almost imperceptible. The strange horn is really remarkable: it is made of painted metal, simulating wood with incredible perfection. The horn is in very good condition and so is the wooden box, which is nearly faultless. It is beautifully made, in clear-colored oak wood, and the corners are carved with scallop motives. On each side of the box there are three slim wooden strips, equidistantly located and finely carved. The antique varnish highlights the beauty of the wood and its nice color. Although the original label has dissapeared, the gramophone is in quite good condition. It has the original motor and all the pieces. The nice black-lacquered arm that fixes the horn and the reproducer to the box is really remarkable, and it still shows a fine design in golden paint. Overall, this lovely gramophone from early 20th century will undoubtedly become the main piece of the smartest living room, standing out in the most exigent experts collection. Gramophone measurements: Box: 270 mm height x 330 mm width x 330 mm depth. Horn: 620 mm length x 460 mm diameter. Weight: 7,650 kg.
