This lovely antique wooden horn gramophone is a turn-of-the-century piece, fully original and in good condition. It was made in Germany in 1915. The gramophone is in good condition and works very well. On the other hand, the motor has been cleaned and fine-tuned in order to guarantee an optimal working order. The motor is extremely silent and the gramophone provides a great sound, neat, loud and clear. The wooden box shows a fine neoclassical design, stately and stylish. It has a molded base and the corners are decorated with delicate turned wooden columns. The side panels are embellished with light-colored wood veneer adorned with delicate marquetry motives, very much to the taste of the period. These panels make a nice contrast with the rest of the wood, of a darker color. By the turntable we can see a metal plate with the embossed brand name VICTOR and the His Masters Voice logo, but is a merely decorative detail; the brand does not apply to this gramophone model. Someone put the plate at some point. The metal arm and elbow set is very attractive. The arm is made of silver metal and holds an original reproducer with the word ARMONOGRAPH engraved in embossed lettering. The elbow is decorated with a lovely engraved design composed of vegetal-inspired volutes. Crowning the piece, the amazing Morning Glory wooden horn is a very remarkable part for its big size and huge beauty. It is made of curved dark wood, remains in great condition and stands out for its spectacular presence. Classic and original from the period, this antique horn gramophone shines for its imposing personality. Measurements: Box: Width: 17.5 in /44,5 cm. Height: 9.2 in / 24 cm.
