Horn gramohpone from the early 1900s, stylish and smart in design and in perfect working order. This beautiful model is in very good condition and is also a really decorative and functional piece. It will let its owner play his or her records just like the first day of use, thanks to its silent motor that provides a neat, clear and first-quality sound. The oak wooden box follows the art deco style that was so popular in the first years of the 20th century, with its straight and sober lines, full of charm and elegance. It is made of solid oak wood, with a nice golden brown color and deep veneer, and keeps all its original parts and details. On the right side of the box we can see the crank that operates the motor with its soft beech wood handle. This is also an original piece and so are the rest of the gramophones parts, from the big lacquered-metal horn to the reproducer. The horn boasts a nice fluted design with a rare faux-wood finish: the tone and veneer are greatly reproduced with ochre and brown paint. On the other hand the elbow, the arm and the rest of the motors components are made of silvery metal, and their shine makes an aesthetic contrast with the warm tones of the rest of the pieces. As stated before, the gramophone works perfectly and its motor has been conveniently revised and adjusted in order to provide a perfect reproduction. It is in very good condition: the wood has a nice and warm finish and the horns lacquer is well preserved except for the edge, slightly worn due to its old age: the gramophone is almost one hundred years old. Its beauty and balanced design, together with its sound quality, turn this piece from the early 1900s into an exclusive item that will delight any lover of music and antique objects. Measurements: Boxs width: 370 mm. Total with (with horn): 520 mm.
