Attractive couple of real ship lamps, very decorative and made circa 1930. The two lamps are complete and in fine condition the white enamel that covers part of the metal surface is slightly worn, a feature that provides both pieces with charm and authenticity. The lamps are composed of two metal bodies, with a glass shade between them. They probably worked with an alcohol burner, but today it could be easy to provide them with electric wiring so they can be used as lighting fixtures. In fact, they are perfect to decorate a houses entrance or to adorn the bedside tables of a stylish bedroom. At the top, each lamp mounts a handle made of a curved brass rod; the shade is protected by a grid made of similar rods too. Both pieces preserve the original hinges and locks, complete and in working order. This antique couple of real ship lamps, very decorative and truly original, will provide any stance with all its charm. Dimensions: Lamp 1: Bases Width: 6.1 in / 15.5 cm. Height: 16.5 in / 41 cm.
