Rare Prussian machete sidearm possibly for the Dutch army. Circa 1890. Bears the stamp of the bust of a king and a knight and the initials WK & C. indicating that it was manufactured by the Prussian company in Weyensberg, Schnitzler and Kirschbaum, that produced armaments for the Prussian army and for exportation throughout Europe during the 19th century. The shrot sword is in excellent condition. It measures 61,5 cms without scabbard. Only the blade, 49,5 cms.
