Precious Gentleman's Hat Pin in Solid Bicolor Gold made in France at the end of the 19th century. It is a beautiful jewel made in 18kt yellow and white gold. This fantastic piece is presented as a small and delicate sword of beautiful workmanship. It consists of a careful hilt based on helical edges, completely lined by gold cord, topped at the top by a yellow gold pommel in the shape of a sphere engraved with reticular geometric shapes. The trimming presents several undulating hawks from the knob to the cross, topped in beautiful scrolls, which undoubtedly denote a great decorativeness in this fantastic jewel. On the vitrola we find a small shield in relief, which is duplicated on the back. The thin and long straight blade is made of solid white gold with a central groove and is, like the entire piece, in an excellent state of preservation, despite being the most susceptible to wear. The pin attaches its original brown leather case with red velvet and white satin interior, made for this particular piece with a shape that fits perfectly to the contour of the sword. It opens at the top with a hinge, so that the maker's name PAUL HEMELIN and the address in golden letters are clearly visible. On the outside of the case appear the letters E.D., presumably the initials of the original owner of this magnificent jewel.A beautiful piece of men's jewelry, perfect for special occasions.Measures: 10.3 cm (pin length).
