This machine comes from Berlin and stands out for its amazing design, as well as for its excellent operation. The box is made of solid wood, with the front side covered in light-colored wood veneer and darker frame. The name NOVOMAT, the card with the prizes (in German), the window with the notched reels with the numbers are framed by metal pieces with a fine hammered-blue and metallic-grey finish. Their retro-futuristic design is charming and very representative of those times. At the right side, the lever which releases the reels is attached to a similar metallic element. Curiously enough, this lever got these machines a popular name: one-armed bandits.
