Nice and rare Spanish Cavalry sword, model Puerto Seguro, dating from the II Republic. Grip with iron guard and wooden carved hilt, showing a net fixed by two aligned screws. The guard is complete, Prussian-style. On the outside of the guard we can see the II Republic symbol engraved, a detail that no doubt enhances this magnificent sword. Instead of the typical two crossed lances with the royal crown, we can see two lances and two crossed swords crowned by the republican towers, which make of this piece a very rare example. Both the swords and the mural crown are crafted with high detail. The sleek and long blade shows a central channel, and is greatly preserved, really spotless. On the upper part of the blade we find the symbol of the II Republic, engraved. The sword comes with the original metal scabbard, with upper ring and reinforcement in the tip. Beautiful and genuine sword, dating from a very important age in our history.
