Antique Spanish officer naval sword, in very good condition and made in the 19th century. This saber is a beautiful weapon. The steel blade with fuller is original and well preserved; the metal has acquired a fine patina, created by the trace of time and providing the saber with a very special attractive. The striking hilt mounts black-leather covered grip with brass twine in great condition. The pommel and the cross-guard are made of brass. The pommel is shaped as a lion head; the beast is catching the cross-guards narrow end between its jaws. The cross-guard is decorated with an embossed motif depicting a royal crown over an anchor, the symbol of the Royal Spanish Navy. Measurements: Total Length: 83 cm. Blade Lenght: 69 cm.
