Amazing Prussian sword for cavalry troops model 1889, forged in Berlin, Germany and in excellent condition. The weapon stands out for its beauty and its high-quality decoration, which can be found both at the blade and the hilt. The steel blade is amazingly preserved and bears a series of fine acid-etched motifs. Among them we can see military symbols and symmetrical bands, all of them perfectly visible. The blades spine shows off the same decoration, including the inscription MOHR & SPEYER, V.G.L HOLFLIEFERANTEN BERLIN with the name of the factory where the saber was forged. The hilt mounts a steel D-guard decorated with an engraved Prussian eagle. The grip is made of dark solid wood, with hand-carved grooves.
