The blade bears an acid-etched decoration, perfectly preserved; among the vegetal and symmetrical motifs we can see the mark of the Toledo Artillery Factory (with the inscription SPAIN STAINLESS) and the initials U.S. for the United States. The hilt mounts an ebony-finished wooden grip with gaps for the fingers; it is reinforced by a steel side piece crowned by the pommel and welded to the D-guard, also made of steel.
