Amazing dagger for officer cadet from the Spanish military academy, model 1940, made in Spain and in good condition. The daggers blade is blunt but is otherwise in fine condition. It bears a mark with the inscription ARTILLERÍA TOLEDO (Toledo Artillery) and the factorys coat of arms. The hilt mounts white grip with original twisted wire and embossed cross-guard with the coat of arms which was used in Spain in those days. The crosss ends are shaped as lions heads. The dagger comes with the original brass scabbard, also in fine condition and original from the time. The scabbards chape is decorated with a nice hand-engraved vegetal-inspired motif. It also preserves the rings and the carrying chains. This beautiful dagger for officer cadet of the Spanish military academy model 1940 keeps all its power of attraction, together with a sober beauty. Dimensions: Blade Length: 14.57 in / 37 cm.
