Wonderful antique Prussian infantry officer's sword, model 1889. This beautiful weapon was forged in Prussia and has come to us in fantastic condition, as can be seen in the pictures. The sword has a steel blade in good condition; on the upper part, next to the hilt we can appreciate the maker's mark, Carl Eickhorn. The seal bears two symmetrical squirrels and the initials C.E. The brass hilt is of great beauty: the cross is decorated with the eagle of the Prussian coat of arms in lattice, engraved in detail and the coat of arms of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The cuff retains the period twist, complete and in good condition. It is also decorated with the monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia. The sword comes with its black-enameled metal scabbard, the black finish being in really good condition. Stylish and authentic, this antique sword for Prussian infantry officer model 1889 will shine as a decorative piece and as historic antique. Dimensions: Blade Length: 32.48 in / 82.5 cm.
