Beautiful Spanish sword for artillery officer model 1926, made in Spain and in fine condition. The sabers blade is made of steel and is well preserved; at the top it bears an engraved mark with the inscription ARTILLERÍA TOLEDO, together with the coat of arms of the Royal Factory of Arms located in the Spanish city. The hilt shows off a fine design, being entirely made of brass and decorated with handmade embossed and engraved motifs. The cross-guard is ample and is adorned with the embossed symbol of the artillery corps, a flaming bottle or bomb. It is trimmed by a circular quillon with an engraved flower. The pommel shows off a similar decoration and so does the D-guard. The grip mounts black wooden side plates finely preserved. The sword comes with an ancient steel scabbard, with a small flaw but in general good condition.
