Striking antique French Navaja or folding knife, marked Haudeville en Albacette, made in Thiers, France in the 19th century for the Spanish market. The beautiful design and great condition of this navaja are specially remarkable: the spring is strong and ensures a good closure, and the different component parts are finely preserved. The blade is marked HAUDEVILLE EN ALBACETTE; these pocketknives or folding knives were manufactured in Thiers and sold in France and Spain. It is believed that the manufacturer also owned a store in Albacete, Spain, where he sold the production of navajas marked as Haudeville en Albacette. The handle shows a beautiful curved and symmetrical shape, with riveted brass and horn side plates. In is in great condition and shows no material losses or cracks. This fine antique French Navaja marked Haudeville en Albacette is an amazing artisanal piece, more than 100 years old and in use condition. Dimensions: Length Opened: 16.75 in / 42.5 cm.
