Antique Ottoman dagger with carved handle, made in Turkey circa 1800 and in excellent condition. Though being more than two centuries old, this gorgeous dagger has survived to our days as well preserved as we can see in the photographs. The steel blade is embellished with gold inlaid motifs, in good condition and of a remarkable beauty. The handle has been carved with parallel grooves in order to improve the grip; the pommel is adorned with discreet hand-engraved scrolls. The point where the blade meets the handle is decorated with fine inlaid motifs too, delicate vegetal-inspired gold designs with black lines which provide the dagger with a very special charm.
